Joshua Balcarcel, Men's Lacrosse

1. What do you love about being a SAAC representative?

The thing I love most is being able to help bridge the gap between teams and administration, as well as school events, fundraisers, etc.

2. Favorite Marist athletic experience to date:

Scoring the game tying goal against Manhattan to send the game into overtime in the MAAC semi-final.

3. Why did you choose Marist?

I chose Marist because of the atmosphere and the coaching staff. Both helped to make me feel at home when I visited.

4. Other leadership roles that you hold on campus, with your team, in your personal life:

Locker room captain.

5. If you had to be stranded on a desert island with another SAAC rep (other than your teammate) who would it be?

I would have to choose my guy Roshan Kalikasingh because his track and field background would help us escape any problem.

6. What are your plans/goals for life after Marist?

After college, I want to find a job where I can take care of myself financially, while being able to better the world.
