Red Foxes Host Second Home Meet of The Season

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's and women's swimming & diving teams are at home for the second time this season, as MAAC opponent Fairfield travels to the McCann Natatorium Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m.

 
Last Time Out For Men
  • James Conable won the 500 free (4:41.94), and the 1,000 free (9:42.50).
  • Ahmed Sallam secured first place in the 50 free (21.10), finished second in the 100 free (45.72), and took home third in the 100 backstroke (51.83). He also came in third in the 200 medley relay (1:36.04).
 
Last Time Out For Women
  • The relay team of Veronica Stureborg, Lucie Gray, Sophia Swanson, and Nellie Thompson was victorious in the 200 medley (1:52.26).
  • The relay team of Margaret Hartman, Charlotte Lepis, Swanson, and Thompson won the 400 free relay (3:41.44).
  • Madeline Healey took first place in the 1,000 free (10:46.92) and 500 free (5:19.29).
  • Thompson won the 50 free (25.14) and 100 free (54.47).
  • Gray prevailed in the 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke (2:28.39).
  • Stureborg and Molly Hewett finished first and second respectively in the 100 backstroke.
  • Leigh-Anne Zanella and Melanie Nunn finished one-two in the 200 butterfly.
  • In the 3-meter diving event, Kyra Cavicchi finished first, while Morgan Cassidy took second place.
  • Madison Sweeney won the 1-meter event, as Cavicchi and Cassidy came in second and third.
