Women's Swimming & Diving Wins Second Straight, Tops Fairfield

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The women's swimming & diving team defeat MAAC rival Fairfield, with a score of 176-124, on Saturday.

Highlights

The relay team of Genevieve O'Neil, Lucie Gray, Sophia Swanson, and Nellie Thompson placed first in the 400 medley (3:57.45).
Thompson took home the 50 free (24.86) and the 100 free (54.21).
Madeline Healey was victorious in the 1,000 free (10:43.61) and the 500 free (5:21.97).
Leigh-Anne Zanella finished in first place in the 200 butterfly (2:11.16) and second place in the 1,000 free (10:48.49).
Madison Sweeney captured the 3-meter dive, and placed second in the 1-meter event.

Records

The women's team evens their record to 2-2, and 2-1 in conference play.
Fairfield loses their first contest of the season, dropping their record to 3-1, and 0-1 against MAAC opponents.
