POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's and women's swimming & diving teams will continue their season at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships this weekend in Annapolis, Maryland. The tournament will run from Friday, February 25th to Sunday, February 27th.

The last time the Red Foxes competed was at the MAAC Championships in Buffalo, New York.

Marist found success, placing in 3rd place after four days of competition.

For the men, the relay team of Ahmed Sallam, Chris Dauser, Pavel Makarchuk, and Ethan McCormac placed in second and broke a school record.

Grace Reeves, who was named the MAAC Most Outstanding Diver, won the 1-meter dive and the 3-meter dive.

Veronica Stureborg placed in second with a time of 56.50 in the 100-meter backstroke. Stureborg also finished in third in the 200-meter backstroke.

Freshman Madeline Healey placed second in the 500-yard freestyle and third in the 1650 freestyle.
