POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist Women's Lacrosse team will have two games this week. Their first will be a Code Red game against Long Island University at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, March 2nd.Their second is an away match against Binghamton University at 1 P.M. on Saturday, March 5th in Vestal, NY.

Last Time Out

• The Red Foxes took on the Army Black Knights at home.
• Army took an early 3-0 lead, but goals from Kerri Gutenberger, Hannah Spease, and Olvia Arntsen brought the game level for the 1st quarter.
• Despite that, Army were able to respond with five goals to round out the half, with Marist adding one more from Delaney Hayes to their count, finishing the half 8-4.
• Army continued to score in the 3rd quarter, making it 17-7 at the end of it, and they finished the game 19-9, defeating the Red Foxes.
• Kerri Gutenberger, Olivia Arntsen, and Hannah Spease each had two goals, and Delaney Hayes, Maddie Schrader, and Melissa Bucher each scored one.

Scouting LIU

• Long Island University has yet to win a game, sitting at an 0-5 record this season.
• The Sharks' last game was a close 12-11 loss against Monmouth University.
• The Red Foxes have yet to play the Sharks in competition, with this game marking their first ever matchup.

 

Scouting Binghamton

• Binghamton University sits at 1-3 this season, with their sole win coming against Colgate University, 14-4.
• The Bearcats' last game was a 13-7 loss against Mount Saint Mary's.
• The Red Foxes have only dropped one game to the Bearcats, with their overall record against them being 13-1. Their last game resulted in a 17-7 victory for the Red Foxes.
