Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist Women's Lacrosse team fell to the Hofstra Pride by a final score of 16-9 on Friday evening at Tenney Stadium.
 
Summary
  • Hofstra struck first at 11:14 to make it 1-0.
  • A minute later at 10:10, the Pride extended the lead and made it 2-0.
  • Kelly Trotta scored the first goal for the Red Foxes at the 8:40 mark to make it 2-1.
  • Melissa Bucher continued Marist momentum with a goal at 6:41 to tie the game 2-2.

  • The Pride's momentum continued with a goal at 9:54 (11-8), then again at 8:28 to lead 12-8.
  • Hofstra continued with a strong offense after another goal at 5:44 to make it 13-8.
  • The Pride would tack on three more to extend the lead to 16-8 by the 6:38 mark in the fourth quarter.
  • Kerri Gutenberger sped through the Hofstra defense to make it 16-9 at 2:20 to conclude the game's scoring.
