Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Marist Women's Lacrosse team fell to the Hofstra Pride by a final score of 16-9 on Friday evening at Tenney Stadium.
- Hofstra struck first at 11:14 to make it 1-0.
- A minute later at 10:10, the Pride extended the lead and made it 2-0.
- Kelly Trotta scored the first goal for the Red Foxes at the 8:40 mark to make it 2-1.
- Melissa Bucher continued Marist momentum with a goal at 6:41 to tie the game 2-2.
- A goal at 5:15 from Delaney Hayes gave the Red Foxes the 3-2 lead.
- A free-position shot by Kelly Trotta made it 4-2 at 4:25.
- When the clock dialed down to 3:40, Hofstra scored to cut the Marist lead down to 4-3.
- Another free-positon shot by Kerri Gutenberger extended Marist's lead to 5-3 at 2:34.
- The first goal of the second quarter was by Hofstra at 9:18 to make it 5-4.
- The Pride offense continued with an additional goal at 8:40 to tie it 5-5.
- Olivia Arntsen scored at 8:10 to put the Red Foxes back up 6-5.
- Hofstra responded at 7:20 to bring it back to 6-6.

- With a women-up situation, Hofstra scored at 11:23 to make it 10-8.
- The Pride's momentum continued with a goal at 9:54 (11-8), then again at 8:28 to lead 12-8.
- Hofstra continued with a strong offense after another goal at 5:44 to make it 13-8.
- The Pride would tack on three more to extend the lead to 16-8 by the 6:38 mark in the fourth quarter.
- Kerri Gutenberger sped through the Hofstra defense to make it 16-9 at 2:20 to conclude the game's scoring.
