POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist water polo team will play two games in Lexington City, Virginia this Saturday, April 9th. The Red Foxes will first play VMI at 10:00 a.m. and then play St. Francis-Brooklyn at 5:00 p.m. 
 

• Last weekend, Marist went 4-0 against MAAC competition beating Iona, VMI, La Salle, and Villanova.  

• The Red Foxes outscored their opponents 51-31.  

• The weekend sweep brought Marist's record to 21-11 overall and 8-2 in conference play.  

• Marist beat VMI last weekend 19-5.  

• The Red Foxes scored seven goals in the first quarter and never looked back.  

• Viktoria Orlova and Madeline Schultz each scored five goals. 

• Nine Marist players found the back of the net.  

• VMI is 3-21 this year and are 0-10 in MAAC play so far. Their only wins came against Penn State-Behrend, Grove City College, and Washington and Jefferson College. 

• Sydney Shettleroe leads the team with 58 points (47 G, 11 A). 

• Marist has defeated St.Francis-Brooklyn twice this season.
• The Red Foxes have scored 21 goals and 16 goals against the Terriers.
• St. Francis-Brooklyn is 7-17 overall this season.
• The Terriers are 2-9 in the MAAC, winning both of their last two games.

• Following this weekend, Marist wraps up the season with three games from April 15th to the 16th.  

• The Red Foxes play Siena, LIU, and Wagner.
