POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Jordan Jones, who was part of the Marist men's basketball program at Marist from 2018-22, is starting his professional career in Germany. Jones has signed with WWU Baskets Muenster.

After playing his first two seasons at Charleston Southern, Jones transferred to Marist and sat out the 2018-19 season before becoming the team's starting center for the next three seasons.

Jones made an impact on and off the floor. He played in all 81 of Marist's games from 2019-22, and ranked among the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference leaders in field goal percentage and blocked shots all three years. He finished his Marist career ranked fourth in program history in field goal percentage (.580) and tied for sixth in blocked shots (94).

Off the floor, Jones earned several accolades as a student-athlete was involved in multiple initiatives. In the fall of 2021, he was one of 10 men's basketball players nationwide named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Community Assist Team for his work off the court. Jones was involved in the Time Out for Black Lives reading program, was Director of Engagement for Marist's Black Student-Athlete Alliance, and attended the Black-Student Athlete Summit in Austin, Texas in January of 2019. He was named to the NABC Honors Court, MAAC All-Academic Team, MAAC Academic Honor Roll, and was named MAAC Student-Athlete of the Week.
