EDISON, New Jersey – Senior attacker Kelly Trotta of the Marist women's lacrosse team was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Trotta picked up her first MAAC weekly accolade of her career, and the first for the women's lacrosse team as a whole this season. She finished the week with eight goals and two assists, earning a hat trick against both Army and Merrimack.

In addition, Trotta scored set a new career high in goals scored as she netted five goals in the Red Foxes' first victory of the season against Merrimack on Sunday.

Trotta leads the Red Foxes in goals (11) and points (15), and is tied for the team lead in assists (four).
