Anaiya Bobo, Track and Field/Cross Country
1. What do you love about being a SAAC representative?
It grants me the opportunity to connect with dozens of other Marist athletes while making a positive impact on the school through committee activties.
Â
2. Favorite Marist athletic experience to date:
Traveling to Disney World for cross country MAACs in 2021. It was so fun and I was able to meet up with my family.
Â
3. Why did you choose Marist?
I chose Marist because of the career opportunity it offered, the positive community and the gorgeous campus
Â
4. Other leadership roles that you hold on campus, with your team, in your personal life:
On campus I am a part of the Marist Arise (campus ministry), the Marist Circle, BSU and the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee. At home I am the oldest of 5 and an intern with Rockville Credit Union
Â
5. If you had to be stranded on a desert island with another SAAC rep (other than your teammate) who would it be?
Deana Giambo!
Â
6. What are your plans/goals for like after Marist?
After Marist I plan on going to graduate school for communications and journalism and hope to work and live in a major city. I hope to be doing genuine work that makes a difference in people's lives.
