Red Foxes Have Strong Showing at MAAC Championships

EMMITSBURG, Md. – The Marist women's track & field team concluded competition at the 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships on Saturday at Morgan Track on the campus of Mount St. Mary's University.

The Red Foxes finished eighth overall in the team standings with 39 points and were highlighted by multiple podium finishes, school records, and personal-best performances across the championship meet.

Mallory Holloway posted Marist's top individual finish of the weekend with a runner-up performance in the 10,000-meter run, crossing in 37:05.14. Julianna Mirabile also earned a second-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles final with a time of 1:01.89 after qualifying second overall in preliminaries.

The quartet of Mirabile, Grace Fletcher, Parker O'Brien, and Elise Attiogbe turned in a third-place finish in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 9:11.15, while the 4x400-meter relay team of Julia Kropo, Stephania Granados, Breelyn McNamara, and Gabrielle Bozeth placed fourth in school-record fashion with a mark of 3:49.65.

Elise Attiogbe added a fifth-place finish in the 800-meter final in 2:12.60, while Gabrielle Bozeth scored in the 200-meter dash with a sixth-place finish in 24.66.

In the field events, Ruby Kaupp set a new school record in the pole vault with a clearance of 3.40 meters (11 feet, 1.75 inches), while Kelly Ballen established a new program mark in the hammer throw at 34.82 meters (114 feet, 3 inches).

Julia Kropo added a personal-best performance in the javelin with a sixth-place throw of 37.16 meters (121 feet, 11 inches).
