Water Polo Sweeps Day Two at Bruno Classic

Red Foxes Finish the Tournament 3-1

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island - It was a successful day two at the Bruno Classic for the Marist water polo team. The Red Foxes scored 37 goals in two matches, which led to wins against Austin College and Bucknell University.

  • The Red Foxes led the Bison 5-2 at the end of the first frame.
  • Marist conceded four goals in the second quarter, but still led 8-6 at halftime.
  • The Red Foxes took a 13-8 lead in the third quarter.
  • Marist defeated Bucknell 18-11 in the final match of the Bruno Classic.
