Marist’s Gardner Selected to Play in NABC – Reese’s Division I All-Star Game

Event to Take Place Friday in Houston in Conjunction with Men’s Final Four

HOUSTON, Texas  Patrick Gardner of the Marist men's basketball team has been selected to participate in Friday's NABC – Reese's Division I All-Star game in Houston which will feature top senior talent from across NCAA Division I.
 
The game will take place on Friday, March 31 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern at NRG Stadium in Houston as part of Reese's Final Four Friday. The All-Star Game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network, and admission to the game and Reese's Final Four Friday is free.
 
Gardner will be a part of the West All-Stars coached by Texas A&M's head coach Buzz Williams.  
 
Gardner was named First Team NABC All-District, Second Team All-MAAC, and to the MAAC All-Championship Team this season. He ranked in the top 10 in the MAAC in four statistical categories, including second in scoring. His 631 points were the third most in Marist's 43 seasons as a Division I program. Gardner, who previously played at Nassau Community College and Saint Michael's College, finished his collegiate career with 2,151 points. 

Gardner was previously selected to play in the State Farm College Team Skills and 3X3U Championships, which will take place on Wednesday and will be televised on Sunday at 10 p.m. on ESPN2.

Reese's Men's Final Four Friday
Filled with interactive activities and entertainment for fans of all ages, this free public event includes open team practices for the participating Men's Final Four teams as well as the Reese's NABC All-Star Game, featuring top senior student-athletes from around the country playing on the Men's Final Four court. It's an incredible opportunity to see the teams and players up close and be in the venue that will host the Semifinal and Championship games.
