RIVERDALE, New York – Marist men's lacrosse won the 2023 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship on Saturday. The Red Foxes defeated the Siena Saints 12-7 to clinch their fourth MAAC title in program history.
 

Championship Team

• Joshua Balcarcel, Kurt Wessner, and Dylan Bedell were named to the All-Tournament Team.
• Daniel O'Meara was named Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.

• Joshua Balcarcel led the Red Foxes with four points, three goals and one assist.
• Jamison Embury and James Lyons finished the game with three points, J. Embury three goals and Lyons one goal and two assists.
• Sam Ferrel and Jojo Pirreca tallied two points each.
• Kellen Pulera, Jake Deacy, Vinny Butrico and Hunter Embury had one point each.
• Daniel O'Meara finished the game with 12 saves.
• Kyle Stofko broke the school record for career-caused turnovers, totaling three against the Saints. He's currently at 63 caused turnovers for his career at Marist.
• Aiden McCaffrey tied the school record for caused turnovers in a single season with 30.
