John Dunne of the Marist men's basketball team was named a finalist for the Skip Prosser Man of the Year Award on Tuesday.

The Skip Prosser Man of the Year award honors those who not only achieve success on the basketball court but who display moral integrity on and off it as well. The recipient of the annual award is determined by a 10-member voting committee, which consists of current and former head coaches, as well as two senior staff members of collegeinsider.com.
The 2024 award will be announced in Phoenix, the site of the Final Four. Here are this year's 20 finalists in alphabetical order:

This is the third time in Dunne's head coaching career that he has been a finalist for this prestigious honor. He was previously a finalist in 2011 and 2021.

The Marist men's basketball team finished the 2023-24 season with an 18-13 record and reached the semifinals of the MAAC Championship. The Red Foxes had their highest win total in 16 years, and earned their highest seed in the conference championship (third) in 17 years.
