WEST LONG BRANCH, New Jersey - The Marist men's and women's track & field teams competed with a partial squad in the Monmouth Spring Opener on an exceptionally windy Saturday at Kessler Stadium.

On the men's side, Matthew Ferreri (4:04.94) and Steven Viera (4:05.29) finished 11-12 in the 1,500-meter run, with both runners setting new personal bests. Viera shattered his previous PR by 15 seconds.

For the women, Alyssa DaPont secured personal bests in both the 100-meter dash (13.53, 33rd) and the 200-meter dash (27.83, 42nd).
