Marist Women's Basketball Reveals 2024-25 Non-Conference Slate

Red Foxes to Host Three Non-Conference Games in McCann

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist women's basketball announced its non-conference slate for the 2024-25 campaign on Friday.
 
The Red Foxes will play 10 non-conference games this season, with three taking place at McCann Arena. This will give Marist a total of 13 home games this season.
 

The Red Foxes will kick off the 2024-25 campaign on the road against Drexel on Nov. 7, before the home opener against Cornell on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. Marist will then return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 13, to host Lafayette inside the McCann Center at 7 p.m.

Following its back-to-back home games, Marist hits the road for back-to-back road bouts with in-state foes Stony Brook (Nov. 18) and St. John's (Nov. 21). The Red Foxes will then wrap the home portion of its non-conference schedule with a bout against Yale on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m.

The Red Foxes return to the road for the Christmas City Classic hosted by Lehigh on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. Marist will open the tournament against the host Mountain Hawks, before taking on either North Dakota or Valparaiso the following day to close out the event.

The Red Foxes wrap its non-conference slate with road bouts at Bryant (Dec. 7) and Holy Cross (Dec. 17), before returning home to open conference play against Manhattan on Dec. 21 at 7 p.m.

Additionally, game times have been set for all 13 of the Red Foxes' home games. All Sunday games will tip off at 2 p.m. All Monday-Friday games will start at 7 p.m., aside from the Thursday, Jan. 16 contest against Saint Peter's which will begin at 11 a.m.

 For the Red Foxes' four Saturday home games:
  • Saturday, Dec. 21 – Manhattan, 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 25 – Canisius, 2 p.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 15 – Merrimack, 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 8 – Mount St. Mary's, 2 p.m.
The women's basketball team currently has 11 MAAC Championships, marking the most in MAAC women's basketball history. Marist is heading into its second season under Erin Doughty's leadership in 2024-25. Season tickets are on sale now, and more information is available HERE.
