POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Red-shirt junior
Haley Ahr of the Marist softball team was named to D1Softball's Top 10 List at Utility/Designated Player.

Ahr is a career .399 hitter who has driven in 100 runs over the last two seasons. She was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year last year, and she was a First Team All-MAAC selection each of the last two years in addition to being named the 2023 MAAC Rookie of the Year.

In 2024, Ahr hit .422 with nine homers and 51 runs driven in. She was named First Team NFCA All-Region, and she was a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection. Ahr ranked 11
th in the NCAA in toughest to strike out.

As a red-shirt freshman in 2023, Ahr helped lead the Red Foxes to an NCAA Tournament berth. She was a MAAC All-Championship Team selection, and she was named Second Team NFCA All-Region. Ahr ranked 14
th in the NCAA in total doubles, and she was 24
th in toughest to strike out.

Ahr has seen playing time at three infield positions – shortstop, second base, and first base – in her collegiate career.

The top 10 list also includes five players from the Southeastern Conference, two from the Big 10, one from the Atlantic Coast Conference, and one from the Mid-American Conference.
