Softball’s 2026 Schedule Released

Red Foxes Aiming to Defend MAAC Championship

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University softball team's schedule for the 2026 season has been released.
 
Marist has 55 games on next year's schedule, with 28 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference games and 27 non-conference games.
 
Non-Conference
  • Feb. 6-8: Marist will open its season in the Charleston Southern Tournament against Central Michigan, College of Charleston, George Mason, and host Charleston Southern (twice).
  • Feb. 13-15: East Texas A&M Tournament against Rhode Island, East Texas A&M, Southeastern Missouri, Grambling State, and Jackson State.
  • Feb. 20-22: USF Tournament against Boston College, South Florida, St. Joseph's, Colgate, and Indiana.
  • Feb. 27-March 1: University of South Carolina Tournament against South Carolina (twice), Alabama-Birmingham (twice), and Queens.
  • March 27-28: UNC Chapel Hill Tournament. The Red Foxes will face Arizona State and North Carolina for two games apiece.
  • April 22: Marist will play a single home game against Monmouth.
  • April 29: Marist will face Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference foe Manhattan in a doubleheader that will not count toward the conference standings.
 
MAAC
Home Series
  • March 14-15: Niagara (three games).
  • March 21-22: Saint Peter's (three games).
  • April 7: Sacred Heart (two games).
  • April 11-12: Rider (three games).
  • May 1-2: Siena (three games).
 
Road Series
  • March 7-8: Fairfield (three games).
  • March 24: Mount St. Mary's (two games).
  • April 3-4: Iona (three games).
  • April 18-19: Quinnipiac (three games).
  • April 25-26: Canisius (three games).
 
Last season, Marist had its best season in program history. The Red Foxes set a school record with 48 victories, won the MAAC regular-season and tournament championships, and earned its first win at NCAA Regionals in program history.
