Haley Ahr of the Marist University softball team was ranked in D1Softball's Top 100 Players list at #96.

Last season, Ahr was the NCAA leader in batting average at .508. She was named a Second Team Academic All-American by College Sports Communicators. She was a First Team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and First Team All-Northeast Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region selection.

In addition to leading the country in batting average, Ahr also ranked in the top 15 nationally last season in total hits (seventh, 90), on-base percentage (11
th, .556), and toughest to strike out (14
th, once every 35.4 at bats).

Ahr's batting average and hit total in 2025 set single-season program records. She tied the program's single-game record with three home runs against Southern Indiana on Feb. 28, becoming the first Red Fox to accomplish that feat in eight years.

Ahr enters the 2026 season as Marist's all-time leader in batting average (.437). She also ranks in the program's top five all-time in runs batted in (third, 159), doubles (tied for fourth, 44), and hits (fifth, 227).

Ahr has been named First Team All-MAAC each of the last three years. She was the conference's Rookie of the Year in 2023, and Defensive Player of the Year in 2024.

Coming off its best season in program history, Marist opens the 2026 season in the Charleston Southern Tournament from Feb. 6-8.
