POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University men's basketball team's game at Fairfield on Thursday, Feb. 6 has been flexed to ESPNU, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced on Thursday morning.
Â
This change means that the Red Foxes will appear on ESPNU in back-to-back contests, with Friday's home game against Siena being the first.
Â
The Feb. 6 game will mark Marist's fourth game televised on ESPNU in the past two seasons. Last year, Marist's home game against Fairfield was flexed to the U, as was the Red Foxes' road game at Niagara.
Â
Three future Marist games are also eligible to be flexed to ESPNU for a Wildcard Game:
Â
- Friday, Feb. 14: at Siena
- Friday, Feb. 21: vs. Canisius
- Friday, Feb. 28: at Sacred Heart
Â
The wildcard format allows ESPN to pick any game scheduled on that specific date to air on ESPNU, giving the flexibility to showcase the best match-ups as the season progresses.
Â
The Red Foxes (15-3 overall, 8-1 MAAC) will next be in action for Friday night's home game against Siena at 9 p.m.
