STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Marist men's and women's indoor track and field teams will open their season up at the Fasttrack Season Opener at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. The men will also travel to West Point, New York, to race in the Army at West Point Invite.

READY, SET, GO

• The Marist men's track and field team will open the season at the Fastrack Season Opener and Army at West Point Invite, before going on a break until their next race at the TCNJ Invite held in Ewing, New Jersey, on January 9th.
• The Captains for the 2025-26 men's season will be Jackson Borge, Raffi Buchakjian, Miles Chamberlain, Amari Mathis, and Steven Viera.
• The Marist women's track and field team will also open the season at the Fastrack Season Opener, before going on a break until the TCNJ Invite held in Ewing, New Jersey, on January 9th.
• The Women's 2025-26 captains are Sierra Fisher, Stephania Granados, Mallory Holloway, Grace LaCapra, Emily Litke, and Parker O'Brien.
• The 2025-26 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Preseason Coaches' Poll was released on Dec. 1st, as the men's team was picked to finish fifth in the season, while the women's were picked to finish seventh.
   

WOMEN'S LAST TIME OUT AT FASTRACK

• The last time the Marist women's track team ran at the Fastrack Season Opener was Dec. 6, 2024.
• Isabella Milojevic and Julia Kropo placed within the top five of the 400 meter dash. Milojevic finished third with a time of 59.63, and Kropo placed fourth with a time of 1:01.01.
• In the 800 meter race, three more runners placed within the top five. Kayla Hawkins placed second with a time of 2:21.41, Grace Fletcher placed third with a time of 2:21.76, and Julianna Mirabile finished fourth with a final time of 2:24.59.
• Marist's A team for the 4x400 meter relay finished fourth with a time of 4:07.88.

 
MEN'S LAST TIME OUT AT FASTRACK

• The last time the Marist men's track team ran at the Fastrack Season Opener was Dec. 6, 2024.?      Senior captain, Easton Eberwein, set a new school record for the 400 meter race with a time of 49.06 seconds.
• Sophomore, Matthew Ferreri, finished second in the 5,000 meter race with a time of 15:33.47.
• Marist's A team for the 4x400 meter relay finished third, with a final time of 3:22.28. Marist's B team had a final time of 3:30.39.
• Freshman, Miracle Okoli, finished the 500 meter race, placing second, with a final time of 1:07.74. Christopher Lynch finished 11th, with a final time of 1:11.51.

MEN'S LAST TIME OUT AT ARMY

• The last time the Marist men's track team ran at the Army at West Point Invite was Jan. 11, 2015.?      Brian Edsall placed third in the 5,000 meter race, with a final time of 16:16.90.
• Steven Morrison placed fifth in the mile, with a final time of 4:24.37.
• Steven Rizzo finished eighth in the 3,000 meter run, with a final time of 8:59.83.
