POUGHKEEPSIE, New York- The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference released its honorees for MAAC Student-Athlete of the Week, Wednesday afternoon. Dane Dillenback of the Marist swim and dive team earned the high honors.

As a member of the swim and dive team, Dillenback is a two-time MAAC All-Academic Team member. During the 2024-25 season, Dillenback has led the Red Foxes as one of six captains. The Red Foxes heading into the 2025 MAAC Championships, are having a stellar season. The Red Foxes finished with an overall record of 5-3 and a perfect 3-0 MAAC meets record.

Dillenback this season, was apart of the relay team that placed sixth at the Patriot Invitational in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:22.12). In the Red Foxes dominant win against Colgate, Dillenback placed first in the 100-yard freestyle. Dillenback swam his way to a win with a time of 48.09.

The Red Foxes are set for four days of competition at the 2025 MAAC Championships, with finals beginning at 6 p.m. on Feb 12.
