Red Foxes Set to Host Binghamton Saturday at 3 PM

Men's Lacrosse Aims to Move to 2-1 in 2025

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist men's lacrosse team will aim to bounce back in a home contest against Binghamton on Saturday, Feb. 22. Originally set to be played at Binghamton, the game has now been moved to Poughkeepsie and will air at 3 p.m. on ESPN+.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • Marist dropped its first road matchup of the season, falling 15-12 to Jacksonville last Saturday.
  • Collin Patrick and Joshua Balcarcel drove the Red Foxes' offense, each netting three goals.
  • Collin Patrick also provided three assists and three ground balls in the loss.
  • Steven Cain notched his first two collegiate goals and added two assists in the defeat.
  • Noble Smith tallied 17 saves against the Dolphins, putting his season total at 31 which ranks second in the MAAC.
PATRICK THE PLAYMAKER
  • Collin Patrick stayed hot after his season debut against Mercer, recording a collegiate-high six points against Jacksonville.
  • Patrick currently ranks first in the MAAC and 14th in all of Division I with 5.50 points per game.
  • The sophomore averages the second most goals in the MAAC with 3.50 per game.
  • Patrick leads the Red Foxes in goals (7), assists (4), points (11) and shots on goal (9).
SCOUTING SCOUTING BINGHAMTON
  • Marist is set to face Binghamton for the 13th time in program history, with the series currently knotted up 6-6.
  • Binghamton got the best of the Red Foxes in their last meeting, winning 18-11 at Tenney Stadium on Feb. 11, 2023.
  • The Bearcats enter Saturday having lost their first match of the season 16-9 against Lafayette.
  • Liam Ferris and Andrew Girolamo each delivered three goals in Binghamton's season-opener, with Ferris recording 10 shots in the defeat.
  • Connor Winters logged 13 saves while allowing 16 goals in the loss for the Bearcats.

  • The Red Foxes will travel to Colorado to face Denver on Friday, Feb. 28.
