DeLAND, Florida – The Marist University softball team split its two games on Saturday at the Stetson Invitational.

In the Red Foxes' first game of the day, they fell 4-3 to Florida Atlantic, which is ranked #25 in this week's ESPN.com/USA Softball poll and #2 in the D1Softball Mid-Major Poll. Marist then bounced back for a 6-2 victory over Stetson in its second game.

In her final at bat of the day,
Miah McDonald set the program's all-time record for triples in the top of the seventh against Stetson. The 15
th triple of her career broke a four-way tie for first place with Janine O'Connor, Angela Degatano, and Laurie Sleight.

Marist is now 9-4 on the season.

- FAU scored twice in the top of the first.
- Marist grabbed the lead with a three-run third. Haley Ahr's single brought home Maddie Gore. McDonald came in on a wild pitch to tie the score. Sienna Kunze's RBI single scored pinch-runner Ava Hampton, which put Marist up 3-2.
- FAU took back the lead for good with two in the fifth.
- Marist had runners on first and second with none out in the bottom of the seventh, but was unable to score.
- McDonald reached safely three times. She led Marist with two hits, going 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored, a stolen base, and a walk.
- Anna Sidlowski went the distance in the circle with three strikeouts.
- Jesiana Mora went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and a walk for FAU.

- After Isabella Manory doubled and Kunze walked with one out in the top of the second, Samantha Rogers belted a three-run homer to open the scoring.
- Stetson scored in the bottom of the second, but Marist took its three-run lead back in the fifth. Peyton Pusey led off the inning with a bunt single, and she scored on Haley Ahr's double.
- Pusey started another rally with a one-out single in the seventh. She scored on McDonald's record-breaking triple, and Ahr followed with a single to bring in McDonald.
- Stetson scored an unearned run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh.
- Pusey and Ahr each went 2-for-4.
- Kiley Myers (6-0) went the distance in just 83 pitches. She struck out two and did not walk anyone.
