POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - The Marist men's lacrosse team will look to continue its strong start to MAAC play against Quinnipiac inside Tenney Stadium on Saturday.

Last Time Out

• The Red Foxes took a 12-7 victory over Iona in its MAAC opener.
• Joshua Balcarcel and Collin Patrick netted hat tricks, and each tacked on two more assists to score a combined 10 points.
• Adam Wacholder earned the win in his first career start, making 10 saves on 33 shots faced.
• Michael Cassano led the Red Foxes defensively, collecting seven ground balls and two caused turnovers.

 

MAAC MEN

• Collin Patrick and Michael Cassano's performances against Iona earned the Red Foxes' first weekly MAAC honors in 2025.
• Patrick was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week after putting up three goals and two assists against the Gaels.
• Cassano was named Co-Defensive Player of the Week for his effort from the Red Foxes' half, where he collected seven ground balls and caused two turnovers.

 

Scouting Quinnipiac

• This will be the 22nd contest all-time between the Red Foxes and the Bobcats.
• Marist leads the all-time series 11-10.
• The Bobcats are 1-5 overall in 2025, having won their MAAC opener over Mount St. Mary's 21-10.
• Sophomore Nate Watson leads the Bobcats offensively with 20 points. Eight of those points (6G, 2A) came against Mount Saint Mary's on March 8.
• Senior goalie Mason Oak has started five and played in all six games for the Bobcats this season, earning a 1-5 record and a .432 SV%.
