USAF Academy, CO – Sean Mullan scored twice, as the Red Foxes came up short on the road at Air Force, 23-8, Sunday afternoon.
Mullan led the offense with two goals, while
Joshua Balcarcel and
Collin Patrick tallied a goal and an assist for two points apiece.
With the loss, Marist fell to 2-3 on the campaign, while Air Force improved to 2-4 with the victory.
First Quarter
- Drew Anderson scored the first goal of the game, his sixth of the season, to put the Red Foxes up 1-0.
- Air Force rattled off five unanswered goals, which gave it a 5-1 lead with 7:48 left in the first.
- Sam Ferrel netted a goal with the assist from Balcarcel to cut the deficit to three.
- Air Force scored twice more to extend its lead to 7-2.
- With 1:22 left in the first quarter, Mullan tallied the Red Foxes' third goal of the day.
- Air Force scored twice in the final 10 seconds to close out the frame 9-3.
Second Quarter
- Air Force pressed its advantage, scoring four times before the Red Foxes could answer.
- Balcarcel, assisted by Patrick, posted his seventh goal of the season at the 3:23 mark to bring the score to 13-4.
- Air Force scored three more times before the end of the half to lead 16-4.
Third Quarter
- Steven Cain scored the first goal of the third quarter with almost five minutes gone.
- Air Force scored once before the Red Foxes answered with an unassisted tally from Patrick at 7:44.
- Air Force scored three more times to close the frame at 20-6.
Fourth Quarter
- The Red Foxes scored first in the quarter for the third time, with Mullan's second goal less than a minute into the fourth.
- Air Force answered with two goals before William Embury scored with an assist from Drew Weissman.
- Air Force netted one more goal to leave the final score at 23-8.

- Balcarcel, Mullan, and Patrick extended their point streaks to five games, recording at least one point in every game for the Red Foxes in 2025.
