POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University men's lacrosse team earned a 14-10 victory a Canisius team which was previously undefeated in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play on Wednesday at Tenney Stadium.

- Sean Mullan opened the scoring for the Red Foxes just 1:47 in. He added his second goal at the 10:36 mark.
- Drew Anderson, set up by Steven Cain, put Marist up 3-0 at 9:35. After a Canisius goal, Anderson's second of the quarter gave Marist a 4-1 lead at 4:15.
- Joshua Balcarcel advanced Marist's advantage to 5-1 at the 3:36 mark, which closed out the scoring in the first 15 minutes.

- Collin Patrick opened the second quarter scoring at the 12:36 mark.
- Canisius cut its deficit to three with back-to-back goals, but Patrick's second goal put Marist in front 7-3 at the 5:31 mark.
- Canisius closed out the quarter with back-to-back goals, and Marist's lead was 7-5 going to the locker room.

- Canisius cut its deficit to one 38 seconds into the second half, but Marist countered with a goal from Steven Cain at the 13:05 mark.
- Canisius again got within one, but Marist responded with consecutive goals from Brady Dolan and Michael Cassano.
- After a Canisius goal, Anderson's third of the game put Marist up 11-8. That remained the score after 45 minutes.
