POUGHKEEPSIE, NY. – Sean Mullan and
Drew Anderson tallied a hat trick apiece to lead Marist men's lacrosse past MAAC foe Manhattan, 14-10, Saturday evening inside Tenney Stadium on Senior Night. With the win, the Red Foxes clinched a berth in the MAAC Tournament.
Mullan led the offense with three goals and two assists for five points, while Anderson totaled three goals in the victory.
With the win, Marist improved to 6-6 on the season and 4-2 in the MAAC, while Manhattan fell to 5-7 on the campaign and 3-3 in the MAAC with the loss.

- With Marist trailing 1-0, Steven Cain put the Red Foxes on the board with the equalizer with 6:26 left in the opening frame
- However, Manhattan scored two more times before the end of the period to carry a 3-1 advantage into the second

- The Red Foxes cut the deficit to one nearly 30 seconds into the frame after Sean Mullan found the back of the net for his 17th goal of the season to trim Manhattan's lead to 3-2
- However, the Jaspers outscored Marist 3-1 to close the half with a 6-3 lead

- The Red Foxes struck first two minutes into the second half, behind an unassisted goal by Josh Balcarcel to trim the deficit to 6-4
- After Peter Murray cut the deficit to 6-5, Manhattan responded with a goal to push its lead to 7-5
- However, Marist responded with back-to-back goals from Drew Anderson and Sean Mullan to tie the game at 7-7Â
- Less than a minute after tying the contest, the Red Foxes took their first lead of the contest behind a goal from Jake Deacy to push ahead 8-7
- After the Jaspers tied the contest at 8-8, the Red Foxes scored back-to-back goals courtesy of Mullan and Anderson to extend the lead to 10-8
- However, Manhattan scored twice to end the quarter, taking a 10-10 tie into the fourth

- Marist jumped out to a 12-10 lead behind back-to-back goals from Collin Patrick and Deacy just 1:30 into the fourth
- The Red Foxes wrapped up the win behind late goals from Anderson and Balcarcel to secure the 14-10 win
