Lewisburg, Pa. – The Marist women's track & field team saw
Julia Kropo and
Adele Alexander set new school records in their respective events on Sunday at the Bison Outdoor Invitational.
Christina Diorio (27th) raced a PR in the mile run with her time of 5:36.34.
Day two of the Bison Outdoor Invitational was a historic day for the women's team with two long standing records broken.
Julia Kropo (44th) broke the eight-year standing 200-meter school record with her PR of 25.69.Â
Adele Alexander not only smashed the nine-year old 3000-meter school record with her PR of 9:49.81, but she also stole first as the only athlete in the race to go sub 10.
All three women raced PRs in the 3000 meter run with Julia Radjenovic claiming third place with her time of 10:25.75 and Rachel Turek (30th) with a huge PR of her own in a time of 11:29.53.
