Philadelphia, Pa. – The Marist women's track & field team saw its two relay groups break school records in their respective events at the Penn Relays, on Friday. The event took place at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Adele Alexander (58th) started off a historic two days for the Marist women's track team at Penn Relays with a PR of 17:31.60 in the college women's 5k.
The women's 4x100-meter relay (Dapont, Samperi, Nielsen, Kropo) opened up day two with a top ten finish in the eastern division and new Marist school record with a time of 48.86.
The women went two for two with the 4x400-meter relay (McNamara, Fletcher, Kropo, Milojevic) setting their own school record of 3:56.41, earning them seventh place in the eastern division.
