Marist Football Holds Spring Game

Festive Atmosphere Highlights Full Day for Program

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The annual Marist University football program's Spring Game took place Saturday evening at Tenney Stadium.

Prior to the game, the Marist Touchdown Club held a well-attended tailgate in the McCann Center parking lot. Head coach Mike Willis then provided a state of the program address in the McCann Center from 5-5:45.

The game started at 6 p.m. under rainy skies, but conditions improved as the evening went on. For a stretch of 90 minutes, there were position drills, scripted plays, and special teams work, with unscripted game action taking place over the final 20 minutes.

The Spring Game wrapped up this spring's practices for the Red Foxes, which began on March 25. A total of 14 practices were held prior to the Spring Game.

Season ticket renewals are currently being held for the 2025 season, and they will be available through Sunday, June 15. New season ticket purchases will be available from Monday, June 16 through Sunday, Aug. 17. Single-game tickets go on sale Monday, Aug. 18.

Marist's 2025 season is scheduled to begin on Sept. 6 against Bucknell at Tenney Stadium. It is the first of five home games the Red Foxes will play this year.
