POUGHKEEPSIE, New York - The Marist University softball team finished a three-game MAAC series sweep against Manhattan on Sunday, as the Red Foxes won 10-0 in five innings in the series finale. Â

- Marist opened with scoring in the bottom of the first. Peyton Pusey's leadoff homer to right center gave Marist a 1-0 lead.Â
- Pusey's blast was the first of three Marist homers in the inning. Maddie Pleasants homered to left center, a three-run shot that gave Marist a 4-0 lead. Samantha Rogers then homered to right center field, as Marist took a 5-0 lead.Â
- Pleasants homered again, this time to left field to lead off the third, which put Marist up 6-0.
- Ronni Howard launched a three-run homer to center field in the bottom of third, which brought home Isabella Manory and Samantha Rogers, which put Marist up 9-0.
- In the bottom of the fourth, Pleasants' single brought home Miah McDonald, making the score 10-0.Â

- Pleasants finished 3-for-3 with two homers and five RBIs.
- Marist finished with 10 hits. Pusey, McDonald, and Rogers added two apiece.
- Kiley Myers pitched a two-hit shutout, struck out six, and did not walk anyone.

- Pusey's second-inning double was the 200th hit of her career.
- Myers' shutout was the 21st of her career.
- Marist has now won nine straight.
- The Red Foxes hit 13 home runs in the series against Manhattan.Â
