FAIRFIELD, CONN. – Marist men's lacrosse sophomore
Collin Patrick tallied four goals, but it wasn't enough, as the No. 4 Red Foxes came up short against No. 2 Siena, 15-14, in the MAAC Semifinals Thursday evening on Campus Field.
With the loss, the Red Foxes' 2025 campaign ends in the MAAC Semifinals with an overall record of 9-8.Â

- After falling behind 1-0, Sean Mullan struck twice for two swift goals, followed by a score from Steven Cain to give Marist a quick 3-1 advantage in the first
- After the Saints trimmed the Marist lead to 3-2, Collin Patrick joined the box score with two straight goals to push the Red Foxes' lead to 5-2
- Siena scored a goal to close the frame to trim the Marist lead to 5-3 into the second

- After Siena trimmed the deficit to 5-4, Marist scored back-to-back goals from Cain and Patrick to extend the lead to 7-4
- However, Siena responded with five straight goals to take a 9-7 lead into the half

- Marist struck first to open the second half with a goal from Joshua Balcarcel to trim the deficit to one
- Trailing 10-8, Mullan found the back of the net for his third goal of the contest to cut the Siena lead to 10-9
- After falling behind 11-10, Jake Deacy found the back of the net for the 100th point of his career, tying the contest at 11-11
- With the game tied at 12-12, Mullan found Drew Anderson for his first goal of the contest to give the Red Foxes the lead
- However, Siena scored with less than five seconds left in the quarter to tie the contest at 13-13 entering the fourth quarterÂ

- With the game tied at 14-14, Siena scored a goal with 1:43 left in the frame to take a one-goal lead, eventually holding on for the 15-14 win over Marist
- With the win, the Red Foxes advance to the MAAC Championship for the first time since 2023

- Steven Cain totaled two goals and an assist for three pointsÂ
