Marist Women's Basketball Reveals 2025-26 Slate

Red Foxes to Play 15 Home Games, Including Five Straight in November

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The entire Marist University women's basketball schedule for the 2025-26 season has been released. The Marist Athletics Department has announced the Red Foxes' 10 non-conference games, while the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference has set its full schedule.

Out of its 10 non-conference games, the Red Foxes will play five inside of McCann Arena. This will give Marist a total of 15 home games this season.

The Red Foxes will kick off the 2025-26 campaign on the road against Albany on Nov. 4, before the home opener against Drexel on Friday, Nov. 7. The contest against the Dragons opens a five-game home stand for the Red Foxes with Bryant (Nov. 11), Holy Cross (Nov. 16), Stony Brook (Nov. 19), and Monmouth (Nov. 24) all coming to Poughkeepsie.

Following the five-game home stand, Marist will head to the Virgin Islands for the Paradise Jam, where the Red Foxes will take on SEC powerhouse LSU (Nov. 28) and either Miami (OH.) or Washington State on Nov. 29.

After returning from the Bahamas, the Red Foxes wrap non-conference play at Lafayette (Dec. 7) and Binghamton (Dec. 13) before opening MAAC play at Mount St. Mary's on Dec. 19.

Marist then returns to Poughkeepsie to host Quinnipiac (Dec. 21) and Sacred Heart (Dec. 29), before opening the new year on the road at Manhattan (Jan. 3) and Merrimack (Jan. 8). The Red Foxes continue its January slate with home games against Rider (Jan. 10) and Fairfield (Jan. 14).

After road bouts at Quinnipiac (Jan. 17) and Sacred Heart (Jan. 19), Marist will host in-state rivals Siena (Jan. 22), before heading to New Rochelle for its lone matchup with Iona (Jan. 24).

The Red Foxes close January hosting Canisius (Jan. 29) and Niagara (Jan. 31), followed by a quick trip to Fairfield for a date with the Stags on Feb. 5. Marist then plays three of its next four games at home, welcoming Saint Peter's (Feb. 7), Merrimack (Feb. 12), and Manhattan (Feb. 19) to Poughkeepsie. However, the Red Foxes will visit Rider on Feb. 14 during that span.

Marist wraps its regular season schedule at Saint Peter's (Feb. 26), followed by a road bout with Siena (Feb. 28) to gear up for the MAAC Championships in March.

The women's basketball team currently has 11 MAAC Championships, marking the most in MAAC women's basketball history. Marist is heading into its third season under Erin Doughty's leadership in 2025-26. Season tickets are on sale now, and more information is available HERE.
