Edison, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll on Tuesday, with Marist women's basketball projected to finish fourth in the league standings.
The Red Foxes collected 128 points in the poll, landing just behind Mount St. Mary's (132) and ahead of Siena (103). Fairfield, the defending MAAC champions, were selected as the preseason favorite with 13 first-place votes.
Marist was also well represented on the Preseason All-MAAC Teams. Redshirt senior guard
Lexie Tarul and sophomore guard
Danielle Williamsen both earned spots on the Preseason All-MAAC Second Team, highlighting the program's strong backcourt heading into the 2025-26 campaign.

She knocked down 69 three-pointers on the season on 32.9% shooting, both of which led the team.
Williamsen returns for her sophomore campaign after she averaged 9.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 26.8 minutes per game en route to earning MAAC All-Rookie Team honors.
