Mike Willis has announced the Red Foxes' four captains for the 2025 season: red-shirt junior quarterback
Sonny Mannino, red-shirt junior defensive lineman
Joey Patierno, graduate offensive lineman
Dominic Perricone, and sophomore defensive back
Nate Robinson Jr.

"I am proud to announce our program's selection of these four outstanding captains," Willis said. "Dom, Joe, Nate, and Sonny are deserving representatives as leaders and true student-athletes. I look forward to seeing our players and staff unite behind these captains as we continue preparations for our first game."

All four are in their first year as captains. Here is a closer look at each one:

- Fourth season in the program.
- Tied program's single-game records for passing touchdowns in a game (five) and rushing touchdowns in a game (four) last season.
- Named Honorable Mention All-PFL last season.
- Three-time selection to the PFL Academic Honor Roll.

- In his third season at Marist.
- Local product (Staatsburg, FDR High School graduate) who played his first collegiate season at Southern Connecticut State before transferring to Marist. Became a starter last season.
- Owns the Marist Athletics Department's all-time, all-sports record in the Back Squat.
- Named to the PFL Academic Honor Roll each of the last two seasons.

- In his fifth season with the program.
- Three-year starter on the offensive line.
- First Team All-PFL selection in 2024, Honorable Mention All-PFL in 2023, and a PFL Academic Honor Roll honoree in 2023 and 2024.
- Played 99 percent of the team's snaps last season.

- In his second season with the program.
- Named a Freshman All-American last season by Phil Steele Publications, earned Honorable Mention All-PFL honors,
- Is the PFL's representative on the NCAA Football Oversight Committee Student-Athlete Connection Group.
- Was named to the PFL Academic Honor Roll last season.

The Marist football team begins its second season in Willis' tenure on Friday, Sept. 29 against New Haven at Tenney Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. It is the first of six home games the Red Foxes will have in 2025.
