Five Red Foxes Named to Men's Lacrosse Preseason All-MAAC Team

Marist Voted Second in MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist men's lacrosse team had five members named to the Preseason All-MAAC Team. Attack Collin Patrick, midfielders Drew Anderson and Sean Mullan, long-stick midfielder Michael Cassano, and defender Aiden McCaffrey all received the MAAC Preseason honors. In addition, Patrick was named the MAAC Preseason Player of the Year.

The Red Foxes were picked third in the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Preseason Poll. The Red Foxes earned 72 votes, including three first-place votes, trailing just Siena at 74 points and five first-place votes.

2026 Preseason All-MAAC Team
Collin Patrick
A unanimous preseason All-MAAC selection, Patrick was also named the MAAC Preseason Player of the Year. A First Team All-MAAC selection a season ago, Patrick totaled 37 goals and 24 assists for 61 points.

Drew Anderson
Captain Drew Anderson returns for his junior campaign after tallying 29 goals and six assists for 35 points in 16 games played.

Sean Mullan
Sean Mullan aims to return to the All-MAAC form that he captured in his rookie campaign in 2024. Last season Mullan totaled 37 points with 27 goals and 10 assists

Michael Cassano
Michael Cassano looks to earn All-MAAC honors for the third consecutive season. Last year's MAAC Long Stick Midfielder of the Year totaled four goals, two assists, 44 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers.

Aiden McCaffrey
Aiden McCaffrey looks to earn All-MAAC honors for the third consecutive season. Last year's All-MAAC First Team selection 46 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers.

Marist will play 13 matches during the regular season with five of them being at Tenney Stadium and the remaining eight on the road. For the second season in a row, the Red Foxes will open up their season against Mercer on Feb. 7. Marist aims to pick up its second win in as many matchups with the Bears.
