POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Marist men's soccer standout
Kyle Evans has signed his first professional contract with Westchester SC of USL League One.
Evans capped his Marist career by earning All-MAAC First Team honors during the 2025 season. He led the Red Foxes with a team-high seven goals and 18 points while starting all 16 matches he appeared in. Evans recorded a season-best five points against Quinnipiac with two goals and one assist and added multiple points in the regular-season finale with a goal and an assist in a win over Saint Peter's.
As a sophomore in 2024, Evans was named to the All-MAAC Third Team and the MAAC All-Academic Team. He appeared in all 16 matches and made 16 starts, finishing the season with five points on one goal and three assists. Evans logged 1,384 minutes, fourth most on the team, and recorded 33 shots, tied for second on the squad.
Evans appeared in 13 matches during the 2023 season, starting each contest. He totaled one goal and one assist in his first collegiate campaign.
Prior to Marist, Evans spent seven years with the New York Red Bulls professional academy. He played every minute of the 2022 MLS NEXT Playoffs quarterfinal match and recorded four goals and a team-high eight assists during his final season with the club.
Evans now joins Westchester SC as he begins his professional career in USL League One.
