Red Foxes Travel to Rider for Saturday Matinee

Tip-Off From Alumni Gymnasium Set for 1 p.m. on ESPN+

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's basketball team (10-16 overall, 7-9 MAAC) continues conference play against Rider, as the Red Foxes take on the Broncs on Saturday, Feb. 14. Tip-off from Alumni Gymnasium is set for 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • The Red Foxes dropped a 77-72 overtime contest to Merrimack on Thursday evening at McCann Arena.
  • Sophomore guard Kasey Bretones led the Red Foxes with career highs of 18 points and three steals, along with a career-high-tying four rebounds.
  • Senior captain guard Lexie Tarul added 17 points and nine rebounds, while freshman forward Justine Henry contributed 15 points and five rebounds.
SCOUTING THE BRONCS
  • Rider, 5-19 on the season, is led by Jackie Hartzell in her first year as head coach.
  • The Broncs are 3-12 in MAAC play.
  • Kristina Ekofo leads the Broncs on offense, averaging 11.4 points per game.
  • Rider was picked to finish 13th in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll and is currently in 11th.
