POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's lacrosse team is set for its home opener against Vermont, as the Red Foxes host the Catamounts on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 1:00 p.m. in Tenney Stadium.
The contest was originally scheduled to be played at Virtue Field, but was moved to Poughkeepsie due to field conditions in Burlington.

- The Red Foxes were defeated 11-8 by Boston University in a non-conference game on Feb. 17 at Nickerson Field.
- Marist led 5-0 after the first quarter and 8-6 at halftime, but was shut out in the second half as the Terriers rallied to secure the victory.
- Sophomore midfielder Amelia Pirozzi led Marist with five points on four goals and one assist.
- Junior attack Kathryn Staker recorded a hat trick with three goals, while junior midfielder Madison Leale also found the back of the net.
- The Catamounts finished last season 6-9 overall and 2-4 in conference play.
- UVM has gotten off to a 2-1 start this season, with wins over Charlotte and Iona and a loss to UMass. The Catamounts were picked to finish fourth in the America East Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Attack Lydia Doraz and defender Sabine Godwin were named to the Preaseason All-Conference team.
- This will mark the 16th meeting in program history between Marist and Vermont, with the Catamounts leading the all-time series 8-7.
- The Red Foxes host Hofstra in Tenney Stadium on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 12:00 p.m.
