POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist University women's lacrosse team is set to face Ivy League opponent Columbia, as the Red Foxes host the Lions in a non-conference matchup on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 5:00 p.m. in Tenney Stadium.
This game will be the second of a doubleheader at Tenney as the Marist men's lacrosse team welcomes Air Force for its home-opener at 12 p.m.

- The Red Foxes fell to Hofstra, 14-8, on Thursday afternoon at Tenney Stadium.
- Junior captain attack Anne Shine recorded a hat trick with three goals.
- Senior captain midfielder Caitlin McNaboe and sophomore midfielder Amelia Pirozzi each scored twice, while junior captain attack Kate Gaven added one goal.
- The Lions finished last season 4-11 overall and 0-7 in conference play.
- Columbia has gotten off to a 2-1 start with wins over Sacred Heart and Lafayette.
- The Lions were picked to finish last in the Ivy League Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- This will mark the 9th meeting in program history between Marist and Columbia, with the Lions leading the all-time series 6-2.
- The Red Foxes travel to the West Coast over spring break for games at UC Davis on March 13 and at California on March 16.
