Marist Water Polo Is Ranked For The Sixth Week In A Row

A Big Weekend Leads The Red Foxes To Be Ranked Highest In The MAAC

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist Water Polo is ranked for the sixth straight week in the College Water Polo Association (CWPA) and the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Top 25 national rankings.

In the CWPA poll, the Red Foxes are ranked No. 18, dropping one spot from last week's No. 17 ranking. They also dropped one spot in the ACWPC rankings, moving from No. 15 to No. 16. Once again, Marist leads the MAAC in the Top 25 national rankings.

This past weekend, the Red Foxes went 2–0 in their home opener. On Saturday, Feb. 21, they faced Iona University and Salem University. Marist defeated the Gaels 12–9, and on Senior Night, the Red Foxes defeated Salem 16–8.
