Marist Softball’s Ahr & Pusey Earn Named All-ECAC

Both Red Foxes Earn Honor for Third Straight Year

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York Haley Ahr and Peyton Pusey of the Marist University softball team were both named All-ECAC.
 
This is the third straight year both Ahr and Pusey earned this honor. This year's All-ECAC honorees include student-athletes from the America East Conference, Atlantic 10, Ivy League, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, Northeast Conference, and Patriot League.
 
Ahr was named First Team All-MAAC for the fourth straight year, as she became the third player in program history to earn this accomplishment. She hit .370 with five home runs, 49 runs batted, 41 runs scored, and 17 doubles. She struck out just 10 times in 189 at bats. She concluded her career as the MAAC's all-time leader in hits, runs batted in, and doubles; the program's all-time leader in batting average; and ranked in the top 10 in home runs, runs scored, and games played.
 
Pusey was named MAAC Player of the Year, Most Outstanding Player of the MAAC Championship, and First Team National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region this year. She hit .400 with 51 runs scored, 31 runs batted in, 12 stolen bases, and 23 extra base hits (nine doubles, six triples, and eight home runs). She finished her career as the MAAC's all-time leader in runs scored, the program's all-time leader in games played, and top-five program rankings in batting average, hits, stolen bases, doubles, and triples.
 
The Marist softball team went 37-21 in the 2026 season, earning its third trip to NCAA Regionals in the last four years and its straight MAAC regular-season championship.
