Poughkeepsie, NY - Marist College announces the 2004 men's lacrosse team this morning. The Red Foxes will have 20 freshmen joining the team this year after graduating only three seniors last season.

Biding for time between the posts is newcomer Shane Brennan (Stony Brook, NY/Ward Melville). Rookies Steve Marconi (Silver Spring, MD/Our Lady of Good Counsel), Matt Donovan (St. James, NY/Smithtown), Mike McGuire (Lake Grove, NY/Sachem), Keith Detelj (Sayville, NY/Connetquot), and will all be looking for time at the midfield position. The defense will be aided by new comers (West Islip, NY/West Islip), Collin Blake (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley), Keith Lizzi (St. James, NY/Smithtown), Tom Duggan (East Setauket, NY/Ward Melville), and Greg Minutoli (Glen Cove, NY/St. Mary's). Finally Greg Woythaler (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin)and Matt McLeish (Avon, CT/Avon) will look for time in the attack position.

Also joining the team will be Chris Reilly (Sayville, NY/Sayville), Lou Pizzigoni (Martinsville, VA/Immaculata), Jimmy Masopust (East Meadow, NY/East Meadow), Joe Fiore (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook), Brian Loftus (Brookfield, CT/Brookfield), Mike Renganeschi (Babylon, NY/Babylon), Joe Cummings (Manlius, NY/Fayetteville-Manlius) and Jim Wiederhold (Martinsville, VA/Immaculata).
