Albany, NY- The Marist College women's tennis remained undefeated cruising by the University of Albany 7-0 this morning at University Courts. The Great Danes (0-8) were handed their eighth loss of the season as the Red Foxes improved to a perfect 7-0 overall, 2-0 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).

Marist shutdown Albany in singles play, not losing a point in their four matches. Yana Tikhonko and Yana Krugly had outstanding outings for the Red Foxes as they did not give up a single point all day. In the number three singles, Tikhonko defeated the Great Danes' Kerry Levis, 6-0, 6-0, while Krugly downed Erica Van Zandt, 6-0, 6-0 in the number four spot. In doubles, Krugly and Tikhonko would team up to defeat Levis and Lisa Fund, 8-0.

The Red Foxes look to stay perfect on the year and in the MAAC as they travel to Loyola on April 4th to take on the Greyhounds.
