New Haven, Conn - In a pre-championship tune-up at the Yale Springtime Invitational, several of the women posted season best times. Sophomore Sarah Domermuth (Voorheesville, NY) placed sixth in the 1,500 and junior Allison Kline (Wilbraham, MA) placed eighth with times of 4:56.97 and 4:57.96 respectively.

Sophomore Christine Wahl's (Lancaster, NY) time of 2:19.61 was good for sixth place in the 800. In the 3000, sophomore Caitlin Garrity (Watertown, CT) placed sixth with a 10:43.22 effort, and Laura Reilly (Pearl River, NY) and Katie Topalian (Camp Hill, PA) crossed the line in 11:03.16 and 11:17.89.

The 4x100 relay team Chrissy McDevitt (Waterbury, CT), Maureen LaClair (East Moriches, NY), Megan Flaherty, (Oceanside, NY), and Jen McNamara (North Attleboro, NY) ] ran their first race of 2006 with a solid 51.87 which was good for fourth place.

The women will be at Rider University next Saturday and Sunday, May 6 and 7 to compete in the MAAC Outdoor Championships.
