WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Both the Hudson Valley's open men's and women's basketball teams have advanced to Sunday's gold medal games following their victories on Saturday. The women's team earned a 53-49 win over Central behind 11 points from Marist's Julianne Viani (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.), while the men's team posted a 77-59 victory over Adirondack as Marist's Ryan Schneider (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) scored 10.

The Red Foxes' Ryan Stilphen (Bay Village, Ohio) added nine points in the winning effort, as Hudson Valley outscored Adirondack 45-25 in the second half.

The men's team will face Western for the gold medal at 10 a.m. at Iona College, while the women's team will take on Adirondack for the gold at noon at Westchester Community College.
