POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Marist women's basketball team will have its game at Hartford on Feb. 15 televised on ESPN2 as part of ESPN's "February Frenzy." The Red Foxes and Hawks, who both advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season, will tip off at 1 p.m.
Marist will have eight regular-season games televised in the 2008-09 season, including two national television appearances. In addition to the ESPN2 game against Hartford, the Red Foxes' Jan. 23 game against Fairfield at the McCann Center will air on ESPNU. Marist will have six home games televised by Time Warner Cable 6, which will air throughout the Hudson Valley.
The Red Fox Club will be sponsoring a bus trip to Hartford for any fans who are interested in attending the Feb. 15 contest. For further information, contact the Marist Ticket Office at (845) 575-3553.
