DOVER, Del.- The Marist softball team lost to St. Francis 2-1 in their third game of the Delaware State Tournament. St. Francis (Pa.) got on the board in the top of the first. Nicole Bender hit a leadoff triple and was driven in by Kara Stroup.

In the bottom of the fifth, the Red Foxes drew even. McCallion Campbell (Port Jervis, N.Y.) led things off with a single. After a sacrifice, Giordano came up with an RBI double.
